Peter Coughlan is a design consultant with 20 years experience applying the tools and methods of design to a broad range of challenges in a wide range of sectors – from fast-moving consumer goods to foundations, from hospitals to schools. Peter began his design career as a human factors specialist, studying how people interact with other people and with technologies. His work gradually evolved to help organizations develop resilience by co-designing structures that enable behavior change at all levels of the organization. He currently works with teams to intentionally design the experiences of both customers and employees.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and writing. He lives with his wife in Palo Alto, California.
Education: Ph.D in Applied Linguistics from UCLA.
